rings created out of 2 'slice' rings soldered at the bottom in a certain angel to maintain a room for the stone, after setting, the stone will scratch the metal in the contact points and starts sliding smoothly from one side to the other with out disconnecting from the ring.

if i would to take a sample, of ongoing object , what would i get?

how can i take a sample of my living area? what would it become than? what would come after this sample and before it?

check up on small specimens, small area's and how would they look when worn on the finger from a top view.. most of their nature comes from looking at them from the front view almost the same thing we do on a regular basis when looking at our life. although, from time to time we need to check other perspectives

my dancer project

first year (2003) in college, 'the dancer project'.

yes you heard it right...we had to design objects for a certain dance or one we choose to direct and perform..just the thought of it excites me all over again.

i remember standing on the stage, with my back to the crowd i thought they could hear my heart as well.

my so called dance was no dance at all, but a series of movement/jesters. fractions of the daily movement we make in everyday life. all i did was allowing them to become slow..very slow..so slow you could appreciate the smallest movement.

how many things/mussel's /body parts/thoughts/balance/direction do we tend to put in the smallest step we take. gratitude.

'My Space' ring

It all started out from a 'house' or more accurate than that, ME.


Just like every one else I thought , what is my meaning in this world, or better yet, how can I define MY SPACE using jewelry design.
So, in the beginning of 2006, I created this ring called 'MY SPACE' (no connection to the website of course).

Well, that was my apartment at the time, located in the center of Tel-Aviv, Israel.
A living area (top left), a bed room with a balcony (left), bathroom and the kitchen (top right).
You can even see the stairs leading to the appartment on the right hand side of the ring.
the sizes are exactly in the scale of 1:100.

short confession

that's my first entry and I can easily say that for once I'm speechless and i'm one for words...

You see, a wise man told me recently how can I touch and share with you the passion evolves design and making jewelry.
I guess you can say that for a long period of time I did not know what is it that I'll become when I grow up.
But I did know I was curios.
And so, while I was attending Shenkar College of Engineering and Design http://www.shenkar.ac.il/site/general/Homepage_EN.asp, on my 3rd year, while in between semesters, I decided it was time to go public with my designs.
So, I became one of the artists selling in a pedestrian mall called 'nahalat-binyamin' in the center of Tel-Aviv.. http://www.nachalatbinyamin.com/
it wasn't easy, I thought I will arrange my designs on the table and poof, I will change the world. I still hear people ask: "square rings? is it comfortable? " , all those myth's .
So, here I am, standing before you, (well I'm actually sitting right now, but you get the point) , will let you on my designs and the story behind them, pictures will be included of course, I do promise not to get you bored in any way . and most importantly , I would love to hear everything you have to say.
